Cookies

Which cookies this site sets, who sets them, and how to change your mind.

There are none

This site currently sets no cookies whatsoever. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no contact form and no analytics product, so there is nothing about you to store and nothing to ask your permission for.

When advertising is switched on that will change, and this page will describe exactly what it involves before the first ad appears rather than after. Readers in the UK and the European Economic Area will be asked before any advertising cookie is used to personalise ads, through Google's own certified consent tool, and will be able to change that answer from this page.

Your documents are not involved

The XobaWrite editor is a separate site at a separate address, and it carries no advertising at all. What you write there is stored in your own browser on your own device. Browsers keep sites apart from one another by design, so nothing running here can reach it — that separation is the reason the editor and these guides are two sites instead of one.

The fuller picture is on the privacy page, and anything left unanswered can go to the contact page.
