Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. A style rule that changed, an example that is wrong, a step that does not work — all worth reporting.

The quickest route is to open an issue on GitHub. You will need a free GitHub account, and you will get a reply there.

Reporting a mistake in a guide

It helps enormously if you include:

• Which guide, and which section
• What it currently says
• What it should say
• Where you are getting that from — a style manual edition, or your university guide

That last point matters most for Harvard, where two guides can disagree and both be right for their own institution.

Suggesting a guide

Tell us the document you were trying to write and what you could not find an answer to. The gap is more useful than the topic.

Both this site and the XobaWrite editor are open source on GitHub. Bug reports for the editor belong there too.
